DevOps Engineer

Personal Profile

Results-driven, with significant experience in rapid growth SaaS B2B start-up and scale-up environments, I have a diverse background encompassing roles as a DevOps Engineer, Software Engineer, and Assistant Product Manager. While initially enrolled in a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Software Technology at Macquarie University, I have developed my skill set with significant hands-on experience and certifications.

I hold the AWS Cloud Practitioner certification and am in the final stages of preparing for the Solutions Architect Associate exam. My commitment to continuous learning is evident through the completion of various 'CloudQuest' learning paths, earning multiple badges showcased on my Credly profile.

In my current role as a DevOps Engineer, I've honed my skills in cloud computing, specifically within the AWS ecosystem. Proficient in Node.js and Python, I bring a versatile skill set to the table. My experience spans a range of AWS products and positions me to expand my skills to alternative environments such as Azure and Google Cloud.

My background in product management, combined with my software engineering and DevOps experience enables me to craft practical and innovative solutions that align with industry best practices. I am a native English speaker and team player who is willing to put in the extra hours to ensure deadlines are met.

In addition to my broad technical background I count amongst my key personal attributes, my ability to communicate both internally and with customers directly (both verbally and in writing), my critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as my ability to create and maintain both product and technical documentation. I thrive working in a team environment and am happy to work remotely or in office.
